Scott Mitchell and Anastasia Dobromyslova have claimed victory in the first singles finals of the day at the EDO England Matchplay.
Mitchell saw off Jason Heaver in a 4-1 win with a 98 average and then Daniel Day in a 5-4 win in the final with a close run affair.
Dobromyslova similarly had a contrasting route through, 'From Russia with Love' eased past Fallon Sherrock in a 4-1 win; but edged past Lisa Ashton in a 5-3 final victory.
Ashton herself had smashed Beau Greaves 4-0 in the semi-finals to continue her brilliant form as of late against one of the most in-form players in the ladies at the moment.
