Andreas Harrysson nearly produced one of the greatest nine-dart finishes in the history of the sport for sheer pomp and circumstance and showmanship more than anything else at the MODUS Super Series.

Going 180 first, he then went for three treble 19's to leave 150 and 'Dirty Harrysson' went for three bulls on the checkout going outside on the second bullseye for the ludicrous route.
Other players have got close to it but the Swede got the closest so far and nearly produced one of the greatest moments ever seen in not only the MODUS Super Series but darts as a whole.
The Swede spoke afterwards. He is unbeaten for a while on the Super Series after winning the overall title last time he was in Portsmouth and he said that it is a challenge that has been going around the practice room.
"If I started with 180 I'm going to go for it I think. I thought about it when Gilbert tried the 150, if I get the shot I'm going to go for it. It's been a thought and talk about it (in the practice room," said Harrysson.
"Everyone is a great player so I don't feel unbeatable but I feel good."
