We now know the identity of 12 of the 32 players who will compete at the 2018 Grand Slam of Darts.

Two more names were added to the list after the UK Open. Gary Anderson, the champion in Minehead, joins the field. So too does the runner-up, Corey Cadby. The pair will both play in the Grand Slam, at an as-of-yet unknown Wolverhampton location.
World champion Rob Cross will be there, as will Masters champion Michael van Gerwen. Raymond van Barneveld, who finished runner-up to van Gerwen in Milton Keynes, is also booked in. Players Championship finalist Jonny Clayton will make his first Grand Slam appearance since 2015 in November.
Peter Wright qualifies, due to reaching last year's final. Snakebite lost 16-12 to van Gerwen at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall. World youth champion Dimitri van den Bergh will attend, as will runner-up Josh Payne. The BDO will provide eight players for the unique cross-code event. One of them, however, is no longer a BDO player. Krzysztof Ratajski earned a spot for winning the World Masters in 2017. Lakeside champion and runner-up Glen Durrant and Mark McGeeney will play at the Grand Slam, as they did last year.
