'It is a difficult draw' - Benito van de Pas speaks after drawing Steve West at the World Championship

Benito van de Pas will face a familiar face in the first round of the 2018 PDC World Championship. Steve West becomes the first opponent of 'Big Ben' at the Alexandra Palace.
The Tilburg native is participating in the PDC World Darts Championship for the fourth time in December. During the past three editions, Van de Pas won the third round each time and so he is aiming for a round more this year.
Because West used to live in the Netherlands, Van de Pas knows him via the Dutch SuperLeague, the number fourteen on the Order of Merit list spoke to RTL7darts immediately after the draw.
"It is a difficult draw, but you still have to win from everyone. I used to throw SuperLeague with Steve in my BDO period, so I know him well. "
"My form is a bit changeable at the moment, but we do everything we can to get back in form again. I am training well with Mario Robbe and Jeffrey Sparidaans to do that within now and three weeks. I would like to come back for the second round after Christmas and hopefully a round further than last year. "
