Gary Anderson took away an unwanted stat last night in Glasgow with the two time back to back world champion previously failing to get out of the blocks in the Glasgow based tournament as he smashed up his protege Chris Dobey 6-1. He averaged 103.57 in the win to underline this with Finishes of 130 and 110 the highlights as Anderson booked a quarter-final clash with Gerwyn Price, who overcame Corey Cadby 6-5 in a fiery encounter.
“Bring it on,” smirked the two-time Premier League champion.
“I just want to get up on stage and play darts, if he wants to give it that’s entirely up to him but I’m going up to play my darts, and hopefully play well.”
