Glen Durrant went out early in the Grand Slam despite playing brilliantly throughout and ahead of Lakeside, ‘Duzza’ has had discussions on a potential PDC switch.

Despite that though he issued a reminder that he might not end up getting through Q-School and that it could be harder than Lakeside. "I have had meetings recently and discussions to look ahead to what happens if I do go to the PDC," he tells Teesside Live. "Things are in motion.'' "People seem to forget, however, that I don't have a card, and absolutely everybody will be going to Q-School this year. You're going to have players who don't currently have a card there, the top BDO players and a lot of very high quality county players. "It wouldn't surprise me if more than 500 players turned up, I'm expecting record numbers and the standard will be sky high. Q-School will be harder than Lakeside."
