European Tour statistics so far after nine events: Van Gerwen tops three out of four tables

Van Gerwen has hit the highest overall average for the European Tour so far and is the only player to breach the hundred mark. He has also hit the highest number of 180’s with 107 in all and like with his averages is the only player to go over 100. The next player again is Wright, who hit 73 maximum scores. Power scorers like Michael Smith and Rob Cross are further down in fifth and sixth.
Kim Huybrechts is the only player to beat Van Gerwen in a table with him having the highest checkout percentage so far. The Belgian has hit 47.3% of his doubles, which is 43 out of 91 attemps.
Adrian Lewis is in second with 43.7% with Wright in third with 42.4%. Finally MVG leads the ton plus checkouts with four added to his total this past tournament including the 144 finish for the nine darter.
Wright like in a lot of these tables sits in second with 21 overall and James Wade who is well known for taking out pressure shots, sits in third with 16.
