Evetts, Ratajski & Harris among players into Last 16 at Challenge Tour 8

The eighth Challenge Tour event of the season so far and the fourth of this weekend is reaching it's conclusion as it heads into the Last 16. Among the players still involved they include Cody Harris, Ted Evetts and Krzysztof Ratajski.
Jason Lowe, Robert Rickwood, Jarred Cole and a winner yesterday Michael Barnard who are always in and around the latter stages in the Challenge Tour are also still involved.
The Challenge Tour circuit is open to players who have participated in the Q-School, but have not won a Tour Card. As well as that Tour Cards for 2019 and 2020 can be earned on this tour . The highest placed players on the Challenge Tour Order or Merit are also eligible for the reserve spots at the Players Championships.
The number one and two on the Challenge Tour ranking will receive a PDC Tour Card for the two following seasons at the end of the season.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024

If you want to see crowd passion... watch a match when German and Dutch players face off... that can be just as bad if not worse for crowd noises.
