The German Darts Masters 2018 will have a unique format when it returns to the PDC World Series calendar towards the end of the year.

Peter Wright ended up winning last year defeating Phil Taylor in the final to claim his first ever World Series title. The change being that it will incorporate music alongside the darts for a spectacular weekend.
In between the sessions of the darts, a series of well known musicians will take to the stage in the Veltins Arena. It becomes a must see event for those living in Germany as the event once again returns to the country after a successful debut last year.
"The spectators in the VELTINS Arena will experience a unique sports and music event," said Zeljko Karajica, CEO of 7Sports.
"Darts is becoming more and more popular in Germany, which is why we are offering this fascinating and thrilling sport a platform that it has never had before."
PDC Chairman Barry Hearn said: "The sport has undergone an incredible growth in Germany. It was a natural step to take the World Series of Darts there in 2017.
"To now be able to expand the German Darts Masters in 2018 in this way is fantastic for what should be an unforgettable day of darts."
The competing players for the 2017 German Darts Masters will be confirmed in due course.
