Colin Lloyd as well as discussing Adrian Lewis in his interview with Live Darts spoke about the potential for a second round clash between Raymond van Barneveld and Gary Anderson.

Lloyd hopes that Van Barneveld heads to the World Matchplay feeling positive as for him he is an absolute animal when he’s on game. Otherwise he sees Anderson exploiting the weakness that Barney holds in his game if he doesn’t turn up to Blackpool up for it. "Sometimes Raymond gets so downbeat on himself and it disappoints me really because he's a class player who's been arguably the second best player in the world over the years.” said 'Jaws' in an interview with . "Phil's always been known as the greatest but Barney's an absolute animal when he's on his game and when he's up for it. "When it starts going a little bit wrong he drops his head a little bit and that's the only criticism I have of Raymond. "He beats himself up too much and Gary will exploit that because he's just an out and out animal. "It's going to be great, all the big names are there, the only one that's missing is Phil [Taylor] and he'd have loved it, he'd have thrived on it," he added.
