William O’Connor continued his brilliant run at the PDC World Darts Championship with a deciding set win over James Wilson.

Wilson was in trouble in the early going but came back to tie the match up and from there, ‘The Magpie’ claimed the match in a classy match up. The first set was brilliant on the part of Wilson who sealed it with a 112 average, three 180’s and 75 percent on the doubles. O’Connor put in a fine response securing the second set 3-1 hitting a 94 average compared to 100 as despite the solid start from Wilson he wasn’t going to back down.
