Adam Smith-Neale has had a brilliant year winning the World Masters from nowhere and making his Grand Slam debut as a result.
Smith-Neale though has unfortunately broken his leg in three places but has vowed to still make Lakeside.
He is going on for a operation later today in which he said on Twitter followed by that he hopes to be back on his feet on Lakeside.
Glen Durrant sent well wishes on Twitter to his potential first round opponent at Lakeside and ‘Big Dog’ when asked said it was his right ankle so his throwing foot.

- I don't have a problem with someone being whoever they want to be, but ultimately there is a Ladies and Mens format for a reason. - The bottom line is Beau will be a triple World Champion soon. She is so many levels better than the rest of the ladies. Lorraine and Aileen have never really raised their game, I really expected the quality of the ladies game to have improved but excluding Beau, it seems to have detiorated.
