Nathan Aspinall is top of the
Premier League Darts table after the first half of action has concluded in Milton Keynes.
Aspinall has been the stand out player and stormed to a 7-2 win with a 102 average to extend his run to seven unbeaten games.
But afterwards, he admitted that it was difficult as usual to play Gary Anderson due to the level of respect he has for him.
"Every time I play Gary (Anderson), it's very tough. He's the guy that I respect the most in darts, he's the guy that I look up to in darts and for the last two weeks, I've been practicing with Gary.
"Gary's been a fantastic mentor for me, I'm not in the same stable but he gave me a lot of pointers and I respect the guy so much and it's hard going up there, I can't play my normal game against Gary because I respect the man but I've still got a job to do."
"Massive leg difference, big two points for me and tops off a fantastic week."
