Cross gives credit to Van Gerwen after Players Championship Finals defeat: “It's been an amazing weekend but it was Michael's night”

Rob Cross lost out in the final of the Players Championship Finals to Michael van Gerwen after a superb display from the Green Machine with a 170 in particular stopping ‘Voltage’ from a late comeback losing 11-6.
Cross have full credit to Mighty Mike post match and admitted it wasn’t his title to win on this occasion.
"It's been an amazing weekend but it was Michael's night," said Cross. "Mike was phenomenal.
"Once I started to find my feet and find a few 180s, it could have been a little bit different but I missed chances and missed doubles.
"I really enjoyed this weekend and there are positives to take - I'll move on to the World Championship."
