Rob Cross took part in the Not So Late Night Darts Show involving PDC Europe and alongside Mervyn King last month.
Cross took questions from Philip Brzezinski, PDC Europe's Head of Media as well as fans on the Zoom and he discussed how he is spending the time between tournaments.
"I've spent it at home, spending a bit of time with the family and the kids. I have to admit my little girl has just got a new pony. It's a bit fresh, it's only young. Just having a bit of quality time," said Cross on PDC Europe's stream.
He was asked how he got into darts so he discussed the family ties that are involved in the sport.
"It was my family they all played darts, it was something I watched when I was growing up. That's really what got me into it. Me and my uncle are quite competitive and always have been."
Like King, Cross has changed darts with 'Voltage' returning to his old ones after not achieving his optimum levels and he believes it is down solely to confidence.
"I think with me, I wanted something that was more grippy. It's like a lot of things with me, I come up with these great ideas and then I end up backtracking and go back to square one. I think it's a belief thing, every tournament I've won in the PDC I've won with them darts. If I was in a better place at the time, I definitely would have stuck with them."
