Daryl Gurney threw a nine-dart finish at Players Championship 27 on Friday. 'Superchin' threw the perfect leg in the final leg of his match against Nick Fullwell.
Gurney had held throw moments before to make 5-5. The Northern Irishman then started the deciding leg with two 180 scores before taking the win in special fashion with a 141 finish.

It is Gurney's first nine-darter in the PDC. For quite some time, the two-time major winner was the highest ranked player on the PDC Order of Merit who had not yet thrown a nine-dart finish on the PDC Tour. Now Alan Soutar (32nd) is the highest player on the world rankings who does not yet have an official nine-dart finish behind his name.
