Dates for 2025 PDC World Darts Championship confirmed; ticket sales start at the end of July

The PDC has announced the dates for the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship. From December 15, the battle for the world title will begin and Alexandra Palace will be transformed into the Valhalla for every darts fan.
As every year, the World Darts Championship is divided into three periods. From Sunday December 15 to Monday December 23, the matches from the first and second rounds will be played. Traditionally, the defending champion comes into action on the opening night, so defending world champion Luke Humphries can already circle December 15 in his diary.
After December 23, the tournament will be halted for three days for the traditional Christmas break. The remaining 32 players will return to London from Friday December 27. From December 27 to Monday December 30, the third round and fourth round are scheduled.
There will be no matches on 31 December so that the remaining players can celebrate the turn of the year. With the eight remaining players, we go into the new year. The quarter-finals will take place on Wednesday January 1, followed by the semi-finals on Thursday January 2. The final of the 2025 World Darts Championship will be on Friday January 3.
Ticket sales start at the end of July
For each session at the World Darts Championship, there is room for 3,200 darts fans. They can buy their tickets at the end of July. Due to the expected massive interest, interested fans will have to be very quick to secure tickets.
On Monday July 29 from 12:00 BST, PDC TV subscribers can get tickets. A day later, it will be the turn of those who have registered for the priority sales. If there are any tickets left, the general sale will start on Wednesday July 31 at 12:00 BST. However, tickets are expected to sell out after the first two days.
