JOSE IS THROUGH! Grand Slam Champion Jose De Sousa is safely through to round two after sealing a reasonably comfortable 6-3 victory over Mike De Decker to close out the first round action!
Jose de Sousa was successfully through to the second round at the Players Championship Finals after seeing off Mike de Decker.
De Sousa was glad to be through and summed up the aftermath of his Grand Slam win including his message from Jose Mourinho.

"A win is a win so I'm still smiling. I control the match all the time so it was good for me. Another run so thinking about my next opponent now," said De Sousa post match.
"The people they support me so much, they want me. That's important. I had a special message from Jose Mourinho, I don't have words to explain my feeling when I see his message. It was unbelievable."
