Chris "Hollywood" Dobey was announced today as the newest addition to manufacturer Target Darts. This cleverly capitalized on the fact that today closes the transfer deadline in most football countries.

The reigning Masters champion has signed his commitment with Target at his beloved St James' Park, home of Newcastle United FC. Dobey joins a stable of many big names at Target, including Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor.
During the upcoming Players Championship tournaments from Sept. 3-5, "Hollywood" will make his debut with his new Target darts. These will already go on sale later this month.
The 33-year-old Dobey was born in Bedlington. He has been a Newcastle United fan all his life and since turning professional in 2015, he has become one of the big names on the PDC circuit.
The Englishman's career received a huge boost after he surprisingly won the Masters early this year. As a reward for this, Dobey received an invitation to the Premier League Darts.
