"I should be in the top-16" - Ricky Evans hoping manufacturer change can reignite his career

Ricky Evans has recently switched darts manufacturers. He traded Target for Bull's Darts, hoping to find a new lease on life.

"I just fancied a change and I've got new darts, new equipment, new people by my side now," Evans said in an interview with Darts Actueel. "I've got new darts now and equipment and yeah I'm playing very well with it."

Evans had dropped to 49th in the world rankings in recent months. "I'm just focused on getting back up there where I belong. Because I should be in the top-16/top-10. I've got the game it's just about doing it now."

'Rapid' does not doubt himself, however. "I've played really well. It's probably the best year I've played stats wise and averages wise but as anyone will tell you, averages mean nothing. I'd rather win games with 82 averages than what I'm doing I'm losing with 95 96 97."
