Glen Durrant claimed a 8-4 victory over Gerwyn Price to extend his lead even further at the top of the Premier League.
But one of the talking points came from the tension between the pair with Durrant roaring when it was 7-4, Price took to Facebook to launch a scathing attack on the three time Lakeside World Champion.
For Durrant, his opinion of Price doesn't change and he has said he will apologise if he has riled him up the wrong way.
"Surprised at the slow start because that's the best I've prepared all week. But felt good," said Durrant in the post match press conference on Zoom.
"People said there was an exchange between us two. I'm not sure what people are talking about there, nothing from my point of view. I totally enjoyed playing him, you're in the heat of battle with him. If I have roared and I've upset him, I'll apologise.
18 months I've talked really nice about Gerwyn (Price) and that's not going to change so hopefully there's no problems from his point of view."
In terms of the play-offs, he believes he is only a few away: "The rumour is that 19 points is required so my manager set me 18 and I like that, I like being set targets. Still plenty of time to go, I'm in the form of my life right now."
