Fallon Sherrock leads PDC Women's Series Order of Merit after dual title win on opening weekend

Fallon Sherrock has made the best start of all the participating ladies at the 2024 PDC Women's Series. The "Queen of the Palace" won two of the first four tournaments, making her the leader on the Women's Series Order of Merit.
The 29-year-old Englishwoman earned five thousand pounds in the opening weekend of the Women's Series season. Mikuru Suzuki is in second place with 3,300 pounds. The Japanese also managed a tournament victory in Wigan.
Noa-Lynn van Leuven also won a Women's Series tournament. Van Leuven is in third place with 2,800 pounds. Beau Greaves failed to win a tournament, but is in fourth place with 2,400 pounds. Greaves made it to two finals, but lost to Sherrock in both.
Twenty more tournaments will be played at the Women's Series later this year. The top two players of the season get to compete in the World Darts Championship, while the number one ranked player will also receive an invitation to the Grand Slam of Darts.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
