Kim Huybrechts has produced the highest average of the 2020/21
PDC World Darts Championship so far in a blistering whitewash win over Chinese qualifier Di Zhuang.
Huybrechts who has been showing flashes of brilliance after a period in the darting doldrums hit a 104 average, with five 180's and 60% on the doubles as he eased past Zhuang with a tie against Ian White awaiting 'The Hurricane'.
He started by breezing through the opening set without reply averaging 94 with two 180's but this was improved upon as he hit back to back 11-darters followed by a 72 checkout for a 15 darter as he averaged 118 to go one away.
It was once again a set with no reply for Huybrechts as he pinned a 46 checkout to move through and set down a benchmark at the Alexandra Palace.
