Stowe Buntz won the
CDC Continental Cup last weekend, a tournament for the best players (without a Tour Card) from North America.
Thanks to this win, Buntz can prepare for his debut at the
Grand Slam of Darts. "Definitely wasn't firing on all cylinders like I was last night. My scoring and averages are evidence of that," Buntz opened. "I was prepared last night night but today, I just had to push through and take my opportunities. I gave opportunities but they did not capitalise and I stuck with it."
Buntz previously managed to qualify for the World Darts Championship and will also participate in the
US Darts Masters next year and the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts. "Honestly, and no disrespect intended, I'm looking foward to that tournament (US Darts Masters) more than anything," surprised the American. "And I'm really looking forward to becoming the US Darts Masters champion."
"Getting to compete in front of my home crowd at Madison Square Garden against the best players in the world is a dream come true. I'm eager to show my talent there and put the PDC top players through their paces."
