José Justicia has won the seventh tournament of the PDC European
Challenge Tour on Friday afternoon.
The Joker was too strong for Niko Springer (5-1) in the final.
Justicia played a consistent tournament, with only in his first match against Kristiaan de Boer (5-1) an average below 90. After that the Spaniard also beat ranking leader Matt Campbell (5-3), Marvin van Velzen (5-1), Steven Noster (5-2), Rowby-John Rodriguez (5-2) and Damian Mol (5-2).
The Challenge Tour circuit is open to players who have participated in the Q-School, but have not won a Tour Card.
Due to travel restrictions still in place due to the corona pandemic, this year's Challenge Tour has been split into a separate circuit for both British and European players. The winners of both tours will be allowed to participate in the upcoming World Championship and receive a PDC Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
