Lisa Ashton qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts this past weekend and will take her place in the field alongside BDO Ladies World Champion, Mikuru Suzuki who received her spot for winning at the Indigo earlier this year.
It is the fourth time in the history of the Grand Slam of Darts that two ladies are participating in the tournament. Suzuki and Ashton both also played last year.
In 2009, Anastasia Dobromyslova and Francis Hoenselaar were the first two ladies to play at the Grand Slam. A year later, Stacy Bromberg and Tricia Wright joined after facing off in the first and only PDC Ladies World Championship.
