Luke Humphries has thrown a record number of 180s on the PDC European Tour this season. 'Cool Hand Luke' ousted Michael van Gerwen from first place, meaning 'Mighty Mike' now holds spots two through four.
Van Gerwen managed to total 132 180-scores in 2016. He just barely matched that number in 2017, when the counter stopped at 127. In 2018, he did break the record by throwing the maximum score 145 times in one Euro Tour season.
That record eventually stood for five years. Humphries reached as many as 160 180-scores this season, making him the clear leader. Dave Chisnall (127) and Dirk van Duijvenbode (122) were also productive in terms of 180-scores. They are now fifth and sixth, respectively, on the century list.
