Marko Kantele won the second tournament of the PDCNB Tour last Sunday. The Finnish dart player dealt with his Swedish opponent Johan Engstrom in the final.
The PDCNB Tour consists of a series of ten tournaments and is open to players from Scandinavia and the Baltic states. The two best players are eventually invited to compete in the World Darts Championship.
So, after Jeffrey de Graaf won the opening tournament, the second tournament was a triumph for Kantele. He managed to beat Par Riihonen (6-1), Teemu Harju (6-0) and Kim Viljanen (6-2), among others, to qualify for the final, in which he overcame Engstrom 6-4.
