Michael Smith seals Night Three of Premier League Darts in Glasgow, hits 109 average in final win over Van den Bergh

Michael Smith is the third winner of this year's Premier League Darts sealing Week Three in Glasgow with a 6-4 win over Dimitri van den Bergh in the final.

Smith produced a stellar display with a 109 average in the final alongside four 180's and 54.5% on the doubles with the highlight being a flourish in the form of a 140 checkout. He joins Chris Dobey and Gerwyn Price in the winners' circle.

To start the tie, he swiftly doubled his lead with a 180 and double 15 to make it 2-0. Van den Bergh halved the deficit and stayed in touch at 3-2 down with an 86 on the bull.

But the 140 checkout changed the game as Smith made it 4-2 averaging 110. Van den Bergh stayed in touch but Smith went one away at 5-3. He missed 167 on the bull but returned for double 10 for the win.
