MODUS Icons of Darts League set to take 'short break' after four months

Lockdown saw online darts become the norm and among the forerunners of that were the MODUS Icons of Darts League which is set to take a break after 4 months.

Starting in Week One with the likes of Raymond van Barneveld, Mark Webster and Paul Nicholson, it featured not only the well known faces; but also the likes of David Evans and Wessel Nijman who showed themselves to be classy operators over their tenure in the tournament; with the former competing until its conclusion.

There was also a nine-dart finish hit by Arron Monk and Martin Adams. Wolfie joined the competition in the latter half of the event and won most of the tournaments he played in.

Throughout proceedings, there were 1671 matches. While this announcement has come, MODUS have said they are 'already working on the next stage'; while they take a break after a long period of darting action.
