Danny Noppert is into his maiden UK Open Quarter-Final after breezing past his compatriot, Dirk van Duijvenbode in a 10-2 victory to begin the Main Stage action on Saturday evening
Noppert averaged 99 and hit six 180's as 'The Freeze' blew away 'The Titan' with seven consecutive legs won from being 3-2 up with a 119 checkout setting him on the way with 60% on the doubles.
He is joined in the latter stages by Keane Barry with the Irish youngster into his first major Quarter-Final delivering on his promise.
'Dynamite' saw off Ricky Evans in a blink and you'll miss it affair between two of the fastest players in darts over on Stage Two.
He won through 10-5 with his average sitting ten above his opponent at 91 with three 180's and two ton plus checkouts including a 124 despite hitting only 27.8% on his doubles.
