From Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23, 48 players will compete for the final victory at the 2024 European Darts Open. The eighth
European Tour tournament of the year will take place at the Ostermann Arena in Leverkusen.
The top-16 on the placement list will enter the European Darts Open from the second round.

Luke Humphries,
Gerwyn Price,
Gary Anderson and Peter Wright will not enter the tournament until the Saturday sessions.
The remaining 32 participants will play in the first round on Friday. Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Joe Cullen, Chris Dobey, Luke Littler and James Wade also did not have to play a qualifying tournament. The field of participants was further supplemented by four Host Nation Qualifiers, a Nordic & Baltic Qualifier and the winner of the Eastern European qualifying tournament.
Raymond van Barneveld, Van Veen and Dimitri van den Bergh were invited to this event because of their position in the world rankings. Jeffrey de Graaf, Mike de Decker and Andy Baetens were among the ten winners at the Tour Card qualifying tournament, making a total of six Dutchmen and three Belgians competing at the European Darts Open.
