Field for 2023 PDC World Youth Championship headlined by Rock, Littler, Barry, Gawlas and Van Veen

The field of 96 players for the 2023 PDC Winmau World Youth Championship has been confirmed after the last tournament of the Development Tour.
The World Youth Championship gets underway on Sunday, August 20, at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes. First there is a group stage and then a knockout stage from the last 32 to the final.
The final will then be held on Sunday, November 26, at Butlin's Minehead Resort in Minehead during the Players Championship Finals, where the remaining two players will compete for 10,000 pounds in prize money.

The field of 96 players consists of all age-eligible players with a PDC Tour Card and international representatives, with the rest of the field filled from the final Development Tour Order of Merit.
Reigning champion Josh Rock is the highest seeded player on the PDC Order of Merit, ahead of Keane Barry and Adam Gawlas. Gian van Veen and Luke Littler - the top two players on the Order of Merit of the 2023 Development Tour - are also among the seeded players, along with Bradley Brooks, 2020 champion, and Nathan Rafferty, 2021 runner-up.

- I've always thought the top 24 should be made up of major winners and runners up then Euro tour followed by PC tour winners - if you don't have 24 after that then have some qualifiers.Thomas Moffatt03-11-2024
