The PDC and Foxtel Group have extended their long-term partnership until at least 2027. That means a World Series tournament will be played in Australia at least through 2027.
The renewal of the partnership ensures that all of the PDC's major tournaments, including the World Darts Championship, will be broadcast live in the living rooms of millions of Australians.
Foxtel Group is Australia's largest television company with more than four million subscribers and has been a partner of the PDC for more than 20 years. The channel is also televising the World Series tournament in Australia, scheduled for this weekend.
This year's Australian World Series tournament will be played in the city of Wollongong. Top darters such as Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Danny Noppert and Dimitri van den Bergh are among the participants here.
