PDC UK Q-School 2025 - Tavis Dudeney becomes third first-time PDC Tour Card winner of the week with storming run on Day Three

We have a third outright winner at PDC UK Q-School 2025 and again, it's somewhat of a surprising winner. Rather than any of the bigger and more established names, Tavis Dudeney has taken the win on Day Three, defeating Adam Paxton 6-4 in the final.
En route to the final, Dudeney showed his skills with victories over the likes of Thomas Lovely, Bradley Brooks and Greg Ritchie. For Paxton meanwhile, the likes of Fallon Sherrock, John O'Shea and Darryl Pilgrim were all felled.
During the final stage, Tour Cards are actually distributed. Of the 29 Tour Cards available, eight will be distributed immediately. At both the British and European Q-School, four days of play will be completed during the final phase. The eight direct cards will go to all daily winners at the tournaments.
The remaining 21 Tour Cards can be earned through the Q-School Order of Merit. At both events, points can be earned per win (not counting preliminaries, ed.).
With several constant results, players can still get a Tour Card this way, without having a day's success. At the European Q-School twelve Tour Cards can still be distributed via the ranking, in Milton Keynes at the UK Q-School only nine.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. Indicates to me that the prize money is skewed to much towards the top players, meritocracy must rule but a fair distribution of the money is needed otherwise its only ever about a select few.Mysstree09-01-2025

- It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. He has just disappeared off the radar. Such a shame when one of your favourite players just dissappears. I guess he is concentrating on the carpentry.
