Presenter Laura Woods recalls time she accidentally kissed Steve Beaton on the mouth: "I was like ‘oh my God, what have I done?’

Laura Woods, who is well known now for presenting on football and boxing started in her early career on the darts and recently was on the Happy Hour podcast with JaackMaate.

Woods gave an anecdote that she once accidentally kissed 'The Bronzed Adonis' Steve Beaton on the mouth after an interview.

“I interviewed Steve Beaton," she recalled. "If you don’t know who Steve Beaton is, he’s called the Bronzed Adonis," she said on the Happy Hour podcast.

"He is a beautiful man and he spent his whole career being an absolute heart-throb in the world of darts, which doesn’t sound difficult does it.

"When I finished the interview, I went ‘thank you so much’ and I went to shake his hand, he went for a cuddle. Because he’d gone for a cuddle, I like put my arms around him and almost went for a kiss on the cheek.

"He then realised I was for the kiss so he turned and we kissed on the lips. I was like ‘oh my God, what have I done?’ He was like the holy grail and I'd poisoned it. Anyway, I realised and I went back into the truck, sat down and the guys were like: ‘are you alright?’

"I had my head in my hands and was like ‘I just kissed the Bronzed Adonis on the mouth and I felt his beard’. I felt like I’d done the worst thing in the world but now I revel in that.”
