Price on mindset change after Hungarian Darts Trophy victory: "I turn up and expect to win everything"

Gerwyn Price claimed the Hungarian Darts Trophy in front of a record European Tour crowd as 'The Iceman' once again began this set of tournaments with a rout against Michael Smith.

Price spoke following the title win to Dan Dawson for the PDC about the return of crowds who got on his back but were singing his name by the end as well as his mindset change.

"To pick up the trophy in the first time here is fantastic," said Price.

"Michael played fantastic in the whole tournament - I was scraping through and played my best stuff in the semi-final and final, so I'm thankful for that.

"It's good to have crowds back. I appreciate the support today, everyone's been fantastic. Playing behind closed doors is not the same, without the same darts isn't darts but thankfully [they're] all back."

"I just plod on, I turn up to every event and expect to win one or two games and now I turn up and expect to win everything, that's just a mindset that has changed."

"Hopefully over the next decade, I can not just win 21 but a lot more."
