Reigning World Champion Price calls for World Darts Championship to be postponed after new COVID-19 infection

Following Vincent van der Voort and Michael van Gerwen, Dave Chisnall has now also tested positive for COVID-19. This means Chizzy is the third player in only three days time who has been forced to leave the tournament.

Reigning world champion Gerwyn Price thinks it can't go on like this and has urged the PDC to take action. ''Tournament needs to be postponed'', he said on Instagram.

The Welshman revealed earlier he was disappointed after Van Gerwen's withdrawal due to his positive COVID-19 test. ''Now this tournament is devalued. I'd rather play the best to be the best. Absolutely feel sick for these players having to pull out over Covid.''
