James Wade is the latest semi-finalist at the
European Championship Darts after seeing off Luke Humphries on Sunday afternoon in Dortmund.
Wade reached his first major Quarter-Final of the year by getting to this point, he saw off Dirk van Duijvenbode in a terrible tie but has gone from strength to strength seeing off Jose de Sousa and now the World Grand Prix champion.
He sealed the win 10-6 with a 98.4 average and 10/16 on the doubles in a machine-like display.

score center to follow the darts at the European Championship. He was averaging only 78 in the early stages as he went 2-1 up. Humphries hit back with a 106 checkout to break and make it 2-2.
But Wade regained the upperhand and went 4-2 ahead with a 124 checkout on the bull. Humphries responded excellently with a 158 to make it 4-3. But he was holding on throughout.
After the interval, Wade hammered home a 6-4 advantage by going into his clinical best. En route to sealing the deal, he hit a 121 checkout and his famous double 10 to go three legs on the spin for 9-5.
Humphries stayed alive, but Wade sealed the deal from there and he joins Danny Noppert and Peter Wright in tonight's semi-final.
