It's time for the second day of the 2023
Grand Slam of Darts. Sunday afternoon, players from groups B-D-F-H will be in action for their second group matches.
As usual, the two winners of each group and the two losers of each group will take on each other. The PDC chose this format so that there is always excitement during the third group matches.

Ryan Searle really should have been here instead of Van Veen, but the Dutchman lost a 4-0 lead against the Englishman after six missed match darts. With a (big) victory over Rafferty, Van Veen can keep everything in his own hands, although a shock against
Gerwyn Price might be necessary. Searle and Price face each other later in the afternoon.
In Group F, Brendan Dolan takes on Haruki Muramatsu. Also in this group are Danny Noppert and Andrew Gilding. The last two winners of the UK Open will decide who will make a big step towards reaching the last sixteen of the Grand Slam of Darts.
Berry van Peer is fighting for his last chance against Chris Dobey. Because of his big defeat against
Jonny Clayton, the match against Dobey is one that has to be won. Dobey in turn lost to Josh Rock, who will now cross swords with Clayton.
Beau Greaves was close to a shock against
Nathan Aspinall on Saturday, but lost 5-4. Against Ricardo Pietreczko, the 19-year-old Greaves will get another chance to prove himself against the men. Also scheduled in this group is an encounter between Aspinall and Damon Heta.
