Schindler looks back on debut at World Matchplay: 'Gave everything, but it was not enough'

Last Monday Martin Schindler made his debut at the World Matchplay. After an exciting match he lost 10-8 to Gerwyn Price.

The decisive moments in the match were Price's two 11-darters after a 7-7 lead. Schindler was unable to make up for the break.

"I gave everything and fought, but unfortunately it was not enough", Schindler concluded in a review on his own Facebook page.

In any case, the loss motivates Schindler to develop even further. ''Every defeat makes me stronger, every pain hardens, every disappointment motivates. I can look back positively. It was my debut and I think I showed myself well.''
