Scotland through to World Cup of Darts Quarter-Finals after hard fought singles victories over Poland

Scotland are through to the Quarter-Finals of the 2021 World Cup of Darts 2-0 after seeing off Poland but were made to make hard for their place in the latter stages despite the nature of the scoreline.

Peter Wright was first up as he faced off against Krzysztof Kciuk and it was a tough test for the recent World Matchplay champion who had to dig deep to edge through 4-3 after his opponent missed one match dart and looked to be handing Poland the points.

This left it up to Krzysztof Ratajski to wrestle back a point for Poland but the weight of the situation seemingly got to him as John Henderson sealed a 4-2 win punishing 15 missed darts at doubles to claim victory before a potential pairs decider.
