The 28th Players Championship event of the 2024 season gets underway at 1 pm this afternoon from the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan. The 128-strong field of participants includes some of the sport's biggest names.
Participants include such stars of the sport as Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Luke Littler, Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, Mike De Decker, Dimitri van den Bergh, Stephen Bunting, Joe Cullen, Rob Cross, Raymond van Barneveld and many more.

A total of 125,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive 15,000 pounds in prize money, which also counts towards several rankings.

- He looks very healthy. I doubt he can run or anything. You need carbs for that. Carbs fuel your brain also. It is the preferred energy source for the brain.
