The Dutch Darts Championship was the 103rd tournament in the history of the PDC European Tour, yet there was a remarkable uniqueness to celebrate.
For the first time in Euro Tour history, the top four-seeded players were all in the semi-finals. The top four seeded players were Luke Humphries, Dave Chisnall, Michael van Gerwen, and Damon Heta respectively.
DThe Numbers one and two eventually made it to the final match in Leeuwarden, which was then won 8-5 by second seed Chisnall.
