The
Premier League Darts is now seven weeks away. Time to round up an interesting statistic.
Luke Humphries was the best on Night Six in Nottingham last Thursday. 'Cool Hand Luke' defeated Nathan Aspinall 6-3 in the final and took over the lead in the standings from Michael van Gerwen thanks to that win.
For Humphries it was already the second week in a row that he won a night. The fact that the reigning world champion is in excellent form is also shown by the following statistics: he averages over 100 in no less than 83% of his matches.
No one is doing better in Premier League Darts this year. The only one who is getting anywhere close to Humphries is Luke Littler. 'The Nuke', in his debut season for now, averages 100-plus in 50% of his matches.
In joint third place follow Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price, scoring above 100 average in 33% of their matches.
