"Taking out the most dominant woman of the moment means a lot" - Sherrock finally gets first Women's Series win over Greaves

Fallon Sherrock has won the twentieth tournament of the PDC Women's Series. In the final, she defeated her compatriot Beau Greaves 5-4.

Somewhat surprisingly, for Sherrock, it was her first ever victory against Greaves on the PDC Women's Series. "This is a really big win for me," said the delighted 29-year-old Englishwoman. "Taking out the most dominant woman of the moment means a lot."

"All these women that play, especially like the top-8 I'd say are very strong players and the more people see these players playing the more they'll realise just how good these women are."

Sherrock is in third place in the standings with four tournaments to go in the Women's Series. Number one Greaves is already sure of qualifying for the PDC World Darts Championship, but the second and third ladies in the final standings also qualify for that World Championship. "You know what, I've just had enough of not winning. Even I'm not playing great I just need to grind out wins."
