Saturday night is the big finale of the final week in the
MODUS Super Series. Six finalists will then compete for the overall victory and the accompanying £20,000 check.
Each cycle of the
MODUS Super Series consists of thirteen weeks. Each week a new competition begins and the twelve weekly winners meet in the thirteenth week of play. Six finalists emerge from three different pools, so Saturday night they will compete for the title during the fourth season of the MODUS Super Series.
Among the final six are a pair of Dutchmen, Jeroen Mioch was the first finalist early this week by winning Group A.
Berry van Peer got a reprieve in Group C and went through to the final day there as number two.
Group C was won by
Reece Robinson, who also secured a spot in the final six as a result. From Group B,
Luke Littler,
Steve West and
Colin Osborne advanced.
The six finalists will be divided Saturday night into two groups of three players each. A mini-pool will be played, with the numbers one and two of each pool advancing to the semifinals. From then on, the tournament will be completed in a knockout format.
