Van Barneveld sees off Van Gerwen as PDC World Cup of Darts semi-final line-up confirmed

Raymond van Barneveld saw off Michael Van Gerwen as the semi-final lineup was confirmed in the PDC World Cup of Shirts.

32 players will compete for this World Cup of Shirts title with 27 current players facing off against five darting legends and these participants include the likes of Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen.

Sixteen ties were made initially in an open draw and from there through Twitter polls, fans can vote on their favourite which will move through to the next round.

As alluded to, Van Barneveld moved through after seeing off Michael Van Gerwen with 69 percent of the vote.

Also through includes the likes of Wayne Mardle who garnered 77 percent of the vote in seeing off Gerwyn Price.

Dennis Priestley edged past Devon Petersen with 56 percent of the vote while Peter Wright defeated fellow Premier League ace, Nathan Aspinall with 66 percent.
