The
World Cup of Darts will take place in Frankfurt in the middle of next month. Wales, who lost the final to Australia last year, are considered by many to be one of the top favourites for the overall victory.
"But the World Cup of Darts will be completely different this year now that only pairs matches are played," darts commentator Jacques Nieuwlaat told Viaplay . "But Jonny and Gerwyn are both in good shape, as they have shown in recent weeks in both the Premier League and the European Tour."
Fellow darts player
Vincent van der Voort sees another big plus with both Welshmen. "They accept each other's flaws and will not easily irritate each other. That has happened in the past in other countries, but will not happen in Wales."
