The "Ally Pally Wasp" is an annual phenomenon at the World Darts Championship. At seemingly every edition of the event, there are times when a wasp flies by on stage and the match comes to a halt as the players attempt to swat it away.
This happened once again in the match between Luke Humphries and Lee Evans. In the very first leg of the match, a wasp came to visit. This one had landed on Evans' darts case.
After Evans whacked the wasp to the ground, it was expertly eliminated by Humphries' shoe. Is this the end of the infamous 'Ally Pally Wasp'?...
